Aluminium Coils

Aluminium

In other to ensure quality standards of our Aluminium Roofing Sheets we import our aluminium coils directly from our technical partners. We also distribute them to quality conscious high volume customers. They are mostly embossed plain or embossed colour coated aluminium coils. We stock popular textured patterns like rhombic pattern, orange pattern, diamond pattern, five-bar tendon pattern etc. Our embossed texture aluminium coils come in diverse colours and thickness. It is worthy of note that apart from roofing sheets, our aluminium coils could be applied for other uses where aluminium sheets and panels are required eg: in exterior and interior decoration, refrigeration, decorative aluminum products, packaging, ventilation tube of centeral air conditioners, etc. Embossed aluminum coil improves the thickness of the coil by 0.1 – 0.25mm, strengthen its tension and steel features, and adds to the aesthetic value and visual appeal.

About Aluminium

Aluminium (Al) is a silvery-whitish metal. It is also the most abundant metal on this planet. There are several aluminium properties that make aluminium, one of the most heavily used elements. Aluminium properties can be divided into two broad categories; physical Aluminium properties and chemical Aluminium properties. These aluminium properties one by one:-

  • 1. Physical Aluminium Properties:- The physical Aluminium properties consists of details about its weight, color, density, electrical and heat conductivity, strength, atomic weight, atomic number, melting and boiling point etc. A brief description of all these physical properties of Aluminium can be given as:

Atomic Weigh and Atomic Number: – The atomic weight of Aluminium is 26.98 and its atomic number is 13.
Melting and Boiling Point: – Aluminium melts when it is heated up to the temperature of 660.2°C and it will start boiling if the temperature is raised up to 2,467°C. Strength and Weight: – Aluminium, in its purest form is a soft metal and very light in weight. Heat and Electrical conductivity: – Aluminium is counted among the very good conductors of heat and electricity.
  • 2. Chemical Aluminium Properties: – Chemical Aluminium properties mainly concern with chemical characteristics of Aluminium such as it’s reactivity, behavior towards acids, effect of temperature and pressure on reactivity etc. Certain facts about chemical Aluminium properties can be listed as follows:-

Aluminium can form various salts which are soluble by reacting with certain mineral acids. Hydrogen gas is generated in this process. The compounds which contain oxygen, get reduced when reacted with Aluminium in the presence of high temperature.
Aluminium in the molten state reacts vigorously when brought in contact with water. Aluminium forms a thin layer of oxide on its surface which protects it from being affected by open air, water, certain chemicals and solutions.
There are numerous other Aluminium properties which are of particular use in a number of chemical and industrial applications. Aluminium is mainly obtained from its oxide ores and can be very economically recycled. These unique Aluminium properties make aluminium one of the most important metal for industrial advancement.
